Today I bought a Bugatti Veyron | Car Review | Geneva Motor

London: The world's fastest car Bugatti Veyron Super Sport is also the most expensive car ever advertised for sale, a staggering 2.1 million pounds (Rs 16 crore approx), a media report said Tuesday.

Derbyshire-based luxury car dealer Tom Hartley has taken delivery of this pristine car. The 430 kmph 'Sang Noir' model, which has been limited by Bugatti to a mere 411 kmph to protect its tyres, is a unique example of the Super Sport - itself restricted to just 30 models, the Daily Mail reported.

It is the most expensive new car to ever be advertised, with the lucky owner parting with 2.1 million pounds. But with the eye-watering price-tag comes unbeatable performance. The Super Sport is capable of 0-100 kmph in 2.5 seconds, 0-200 kmph in 6.7 seconds and the ability to cover one kilometre in just 14 seconds, the Mail said.

These stunning figures come courtesy of the car's quad-turbocharged eight litre engine, which develops a colossal 1,200 bhp -- 200 bhp more than a standard Veyron. This model was the second to roll off the company's production line in Molsheim, France, and was the display car at this year's Geneva Motor Show, according to the Mail.

Tom Hartley Jr, whose firm is selling it, said: "This is a fantastic opportunity to get your hands on the first Super Sport to come onto the open market."
